Most Recent Post: Wieskirche - Pilgrimage Church of the "Scourged Savior" a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Historic architecture is one of photography’s most difficult photographic challenges. Expansive interiors and the high ceilings of churches and castles create parallax and lens problems. Poor interior light and bright light from exterior windows represent exposure and color balance difficulties.
With a background in architectural photography and as a UNESCO World Heritage Center Partner, I have chosen the sub-specialty of historic architectural photography to create an archive of some of the world’s most beautiful and important historic buildings, churches and landscapes.
All images are made with the permission of the site owners and provided to UNESCO at no charge.
